Most of this guide speaks to a business marketing itself. If you market other businesses, this article is yours: what an agency workspace adds, what your sidebar calls things, and how your clients experience the work.
How agency workspaces differ
Underneath, it is the same product — the AI teammates, the approvals rule and the tools all work exactly as described in Welcome to Jara Marketing. An agency workspace is simply built around a book of clients rather than one company:
- Client accounts — a CRM (customer relationship management) of the businesses you serve, so every piece of work, report and invoice hangs off the right client.
- A client portal — a white-labelled space your clients log into, under your branding, entirely separate from your internal workspace.
- A Client role — invite your client's people as portal-only users, each tied to their own client account. They never see your internal workspace. More in Your team and roles.
- Agency navigation and vocabulary — your sidebar uses agency names, mapped below.
The vocabulary map
The rest of this guide names things the business way. Here is what each of those names says in your sidebar:
| What this guide calls it | What your sidebar calls it |
|---|---|
| Marketing | Studio |
| Audience | Clients |
| Sales | New Business |
| Your team | Agency |
| Performance | Analytics |
| Initiatives | Projects |
| Your plan | Strategy |
| Billing | Plans & Billing |
Deliver keeps its name in both modes, and Contacts is Contacts everywhere.
Agency-only tools
- RFPs (requests for proposal) — track and manage the bids that bring in new clients.
- PR & earned media — plan and track press and earned-media work for your clients.
- CRO (conversion-rate optimisation) — run structured conversion-improvement work.
- Time tracking — record hours against clients and projects.
- Conflict-of-interest register — a formal record of potential conflicts across your client list.
- Per-client reporting — reports scoped to each client, with QBR (quarterly business review) narratives.
Some of these are enabled per workspace. If you don't see one of them, it may not be enabled for your workspace yet.
How your clients experience it
Your clients meet your work through two surfaces, both carrying your branding:
- The client portal — a white-labelled portal each client logs into with their own Client login, tied to their account alone. They see the portal, never your internal workspace.
- Branded public links — proposals, contracts, invoices and other documents you share open as public pages under your branding, so what a client opens looks like yours rather than a third-party tool.
Getting an agency workspace
Since August 2026, agency workspaces are arranged with a Jara Marketing rep rather than bought online — the setup and commercials are sized to how your agency actually works. Start at Talk to us. Already running an agency workspace? Nothing changes for you — existing agency workspaces keep working exactly as they are. For the wider pricing picture, see Plans, billing and your trial.
