Most snags in your first week have a quick fix. Find the symptom below — and if nothing here solves it, the last section tells you exactly where to go.
A page or tool seems to be missing
A brand-new workspace deliberately starts with a short sidebar and reveals more as you go (progressive disclosure — tools appear as your workspace starts using them). Before assuming something is gone:
- Click More tools at the bottom of the sidebar to show everything at once.
- Press
Ctrl/Cmd + Kand search for the page by name — the command palette can reach pages the sidebar is not currently showing. - Still nothing? The feature may not be enabled for your workspace yet.
More on how the sidebar behaves in Finding your way around.
Email problems: invites, resets and syncing
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The invite email never arrived | Spam filters, or a typo in the address | Ask them to check spam. Then open Your team → Team → Invitations: check the address on the pending invite, use Copy Link to send them the join link directly, or cancel and re-invite with the right address. |
| A password reset email has not come | Spam, or a different address | Check the spam folder, and confirm you entered the address you signed up with. |
| Your connected email stopped syncing | The connection to your email provider has expired | Go to Inbox and reconnect the mailbox — re-authorising with your provider usually brings the sync straight back. |
Websites, domains and public links
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Your custom domain will not verify | The DNS (domain name system) records are missing, mistyped, or still propagating | Open your website under Marketing → Websites and re-check the records in its domain settings — add them exactly as shown (each has a copy button), then run the check again. DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours to propagate, so a recent change may just need time. |
| A customer says a public link does not work | The document was never sent, or they have an old link | Check the document was actually sent, then re-share the link fresh from the document itself. |
Your AI teammate has not produced anything
Two places to check, in order:
- Approvals. Finished work waits for your yes — it may already be sitting in your Approvals inbox rather than missing.
- The assignment. Go to Your team → Roster and open the Agents tab — check the teammate's assignment is active.
If both look right and nothing is arriving, tell us — the routes below are the fastest way.
Still stuck?
- The feedback widget — the button in the bottom-right corner of your workspace. Describe what you expected and what happened; your message reaches us with the page you were on attached.
- Talk to us — the contact page, for anything bigger or more urgent.
