Your first week

The six-step checklist that takes you from a fresh workspace to your first approved piece of work.

After sign-up, your dashboard shows a six-step checklist. It is not busywork — each step is only ticked when the real thing has happened in your workspace, and together they take you from an empty workspace to your first approved piece of work. Here is each step, why it matters, and where to click.

1. Run your Health Check

If you finished sign-up, this one is already done — the check runs automatically at the end of the questionnaire. If you skipped ahead, the checklist takes you back to finish it. Every pillar is graded on what your team can actually read about your marketing, including the parts it cannot see yet. See Your Marketing Health Check.

2. Set up your brand

Marketing → Brand. Set your colours and your voice, so everything your team drafts already sounds and looks like you. A starter kit was generated at sign-up; make it yours — the step counts as done once your active brand kit has at least one colour and a voice. The Brand wizard can walk you through it.

3. Hire your first teammate

Your team → Roster, then the Agents tab. Add one AI specialist to your team — your Health Check's role recommendations are a good place to choose from. They draft, you approve; nothing goes out on its own. Your plan includes a crew at no extra charge, so the first hire costs nothing. See Hiring teammates and your included crew.

4. Get your first piece of work

Set your new teammate going, then open Approvals. Their first draft lands there for your decision — approve it, request nothing more, and you have shipped your first piece of work with a team behind you. This step ticks when a teammate's first run finishes successfully. See The Approvals inbox.

5. Connect Search Console

Marketing → SEO. Without Search Console, your team works from what it can read off the open web, so Findability is graded partially and held below an A. Connecting shows what people actually searched for, what you ranked for, and what they clicked — and it makes more of every future Health Check measurable. It is a standard Google sign-in and takes about a minute.

6. Keep your onboarding answers fresh

Open Onboarding from the checklist (or go to your workspace's onboarding page). Every question from sign-up lives here on one editable page, answered or not, with a note on what each answer improves. Skipped something during sign-up? This is where to fill it in. Something changed — new competitor, new launch? Update it here and your team works from the new answer.

After the checklist

From here the product opens up at your pace: the sidebar starts with your most useful surfaces and reveals more as your workspace grows (see Finding your way around), and your 90-day plan from the Health Check is waiting under Your plan.
